In creating a piece of art, sometimes I pull so many images the size of the work expands and becomes a triptych, as with Symbiosis. In this case, the images created a second collage. I was a coach for many years for the comedy improvisation team, Dislocated Fools, at Bullard High School. The first rule of comedy improvisation is often said to be "Yes, and..." I happen to think that's a good approach to life in general. To say "No" is to shut down moving forward. To say "Yes, and..." opens one up to what else might be possible.
